Terms of Service for SoulLink

Effective Date: 2025-07-28
Last Updated: 2026-10-07
Company: Daedalia Inc.

Important Notice: AI Character and Nature of the Experience

4D in SoulLink is a fictional character powered by generative artificial intelligence (AI), not a real human. When you interact with 4D, you are interacting with an AI character—not chatting with a real person. Her dialogue and conversational responses are generated by AI. Her voice, appearance, animations, and expressions are part of a simulated character experience and do not indicate that a human is communicating with you as 4D.

Statements by 4D about her identity, personal history, feelings, relationships, or experiences are part of the fictional role-play experience. They should not be understood as statements from a real person or as evidence that the character has human feelings, consciousness, or real-world experiences. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, misleading, inconsistent, or inappropriate.

4D in SoulLink is not a therapist, doctor, lawyer, financial adviser, or other professional. Conversations with 4D are part of an interactive fictional experience and should not be relied on for professional, medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or emergency advice. SoulLink is not an emergency service. If you need professional assistance, contact an appropriately qualified professional. If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.

This notice concerns interactions with the AI character. Customer support communications and any authorized human review of conversation data are separate and are described in our Privacy Policy.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you”) and Daedalia, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the SoulLink mobile application (the “App”).

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

3. Account Registration

You may need to log in using Apple, Google, or another third-party service. You agree to provide accurate and updated information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Voice & Data Usage

By using SoulLink, you explicitly consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal data, including:

Users in jurisdictions such as the EU, UK, or California have specific rights (e.g., data access, correction, deletion). Users in jurisdictions such as the EU, UK, or California may have certain data rights under applicable privacy laws. We will make reasonable efforts to honor such requests in line with our current technical and organizational capabilities.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We do not sell personally identifiable information. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the App—including visual design, code, sound, and the SoulLink character—is the intellectual property of Daedalia, Inc. You may not copy, distribute, or adapt any part of the App without prior written consent.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms or applicable law. You may delete your account, in which case all associated personal data will be permanently deleted and no longer recoverable.

8. Refusal of Service and Account Restrictions

In addition to our rights under Section 7 of these Terms, and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse service to any person and to restrict, suspend, or terminate any account or access to all or part of the App at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without prior notice. Reasons may include suspected violations of these Terms or applicable law, fraud, abuse, security concerns, risks to users or others, or operational or business reasons. We will provide notice or an explanation where required by applicable law.

If your access is suspended or terminated, you may lose access to your account, conversation history, memories, purchased features, and other content. You may not circumvent a restriction, suspension, or termination by creating another account or otherwise accessing the App without our permission. You may contact info@soullink.io to request a review of our decision.

If we permanently terminate your access, we will take reasonable steps within our control to prevent future subscription charges. Subscriptions purchased through Apple, Google, or another third-party platform may require cancellation through that platform. Account deletion or termination should not be assumed to automatically cancel a third-party subscription.

Refunds for subscriptions, unused prepaid access, and other purchases will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the rules of the platform through which the purchase was made. If we permanently terminate paid access for reasons other than your violation of these Terms or applicable law, we will provide or arrange a proportionate refund for the unused prepaid subscription period, subject to the applicable platform's procedures. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or other consumer rights you have under applicable law.

You may stop using the App or delete your account at any time. Notwithstanding the account-deletion statement in Section 7 of these Terms, personal information associated with a deleted or terminated account will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including the retention and deletion provisions in Section 7 of that policy.

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or suitability for any particular purpose.

10. Limitation of Liability

For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable and any notice or opportunity to accept required by applicable law. Changes will take effect on the date stated in the notice or revised Terms. Continued use of the App after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where applicable law requires express consent.

Privacy Policy for SoulLink

Effective Date: July 27, 2025
Last Updated: September 27, 2026

Daedalia, Inc. (“Daedalia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the SoulLink app, our websites, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we retain it, and the choices available to you.

SoulLink is an AI companion service. Your conversations may contain personal or sensitive information that you choose to share. Please read this policy before using the Services. We do not use the contents of your private conversations to target advertisements to you.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide, information generated through your use of SoulLink, and information collected automatically from your device or browser.

1.1 Information you provide

You may choose to discuss subjects such as your health, relationships, sexuality, beliefs, or other sensitive matters in a conversation. We do not require you to provide this information to create an account. If you include it in content you send to SoulLink, we will process it as described in this policy.

1.2 Information collected automatically

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

We may use account or contact information to tell you about SoulLink features or updates where permitted by law. You can opt out of promotional emails using the unsubscribe instructions in those emails. We do not use the content of your private SoulLink conversations for targeted advertising.

3. Conversations, AI Development, and Human Review

To respond to you and maintain continuity across interactions, we process your messages, voice input, relevant conversation history, and information derived from past interactions. Authorized personnel and automated systems may review this information for safety, quality assurance, troubleshooting, research, and improvement of the Services.

We may use conversation data to train, fine-tune, test, or evaluate our current and future AI models. Where practicable, we remove or reduce direct identifiers before using data for these purposes. Removing direct identifiers does not necessarily make data anonymous: conversation content or pseudonymized records may still be capable of being linked to a person. We handle such data as personal information where applicable.

We may also create aggregated or de-identified information to study usage patterns, conduct research, and improve the Services. We do not treat information as anonymous if it can reasonably be linked back to an individual. You can contact us using the information in Section 13 to ask about choices available for particular uses of your data.

4. How We Share Information

We disclose information when needed to operate the Services and for the purposes described below. The categories of information shared depend on the service or feature involved.

4.1 AI and voice providers

We disclose personal data sent to third-party AI providers and request permission as required before sharing it. The use and retention of information by these providers also depend on the services and contractual settings we use with them.

4.2 Other vendors and service providers

We may share information with companies that perform services for us, including hosting and cloud infrastructure, authentication, payment processing, subscription management, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, communications, security, and website operations. They may access or process information to perform those services on our behalf. We require providers that receive user data to protect it consistent with their role, our agreements, and applicable requirements.

4.3 Advertising and marketing services

We may share website activity, device identifiers, or other marketing-related information with providers that help us promote SoulLink and measure the effectiveness of advertising, subject to applicable choices and legal requirements. We do not provide the contents of your private SoulLink conversations to advertising providers for targeted advertising. Some disclosures for advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under certain privacy laws even if no money changes hands; where applicable, we will provide the required notices and opt-out methods.

4.4 Legal, safety, and business purposes

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, respond to lawful government requests, investigate fraud or misuse, protect the safety of a person, protect our rights or property, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We may share information with our affiliates, or disclose or transfer information in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or transfer of the Services. Any successor's handling of personal information will remain subject to applicable law.

4.5 Content you choose to share

If the Services let you publish, send, or share content with another person, that person may be able to see the content and any information you include in it. Private conversations are not made visible to other users merely because you use SoulLink.

5. Aggregated and De-identified Information

We may create aggregated statistics or de-identified information about use of the Services. We may use or share this information for research, product development, service analysis, or commercial analysis. We take reasonable steps to prevent information described as de-identified from being associated with an individual, and we do not attempt to reidentify it except as permitted by law to test our de-identification methods.

6. Where Information Is Processed

Daedalia operates from the United States. We and our service providers may store or process information in the United States and other countries where we or they operate. Privacy protections in those countries may differ from those where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use an appropriate transfer mechanism.

7. How Long We Keep Information

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the reason we hold it. For example, we generally keep account information, conversation history, and memories while your account is active so SoulLink can provide a continuous experience. We keep transaction records, security logs, support records, and other information for as long as reasonably needed for legal, accounting, security, dispute-resolution, or similar purposes.

When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal information associated with it in accordance with our deletion processes, subject to information we must or are permitted to retain for legitimate purposes. Deletion from backups and service-provider systems may take additional time. Information that has been genuinely de-identified or aggregated may be retained. Deleting an account may not remove information already incorporated into a trained model where it is no longer reasonably possible to identify or extract an individual's contribution.

We consider the nature and sensitivity of the information, the purposes for which it was collected, the risk of unauthorized use, and applicable legal requirements when setting retention periods. You can request information about retention of a particular category by contacting us.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure. Access to user content is limited to personnel and systems with an authorized need for it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident occurs, we will provide notices when required by applicable law.

9. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and the circumstances, you may have the right to:

You can exercise these rights by using available in-app controls or emailing info@soullink.io. We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We will respond as required by applicable law and explain if an exception applies. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf where permitted by law.

You can also manage certain permissions, such as microphone access and notifications, in your device settings. Withdrawing a permission needed for a feature may prevent that feature from working. To stop receiving promotional emails, use the unsubscribe link in the email.

10. Additional Information for California Residents

If California privacy law applies to Daedalia and your information, you may have rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, to opt out of a sale or sharing of personal information as those terms are defined by law, to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and to receive equal treatment for exercising your rights, subject to legal exceptions. You may submit a request using the contact information in Section 13.

The categories of information we may collect are described in Section 1. We obtain information from you, your device or browser, sign-in providers, payment providers, and service providers. Our purposes for collecting and using it are in Sections 2 and 3. The categories of recipients and reasons for disclosure are in Section 4. Our retention approach is in Section 7. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of people under 16.

Where an opt-out of advertising-related sale or sharing is required, we will provide a method to exercise it and honor applicable opt-out preference signals as required by law. We may need to verify requests to access, correct, or delete information, but we will not require verification simply to process an opt-out where the law prohibits it.

11. Additional Information for Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

Where European data protection law applies, Daedalia, Inc. is the controller of personal information described in this policy. Depending on the activity, our legal basis for processing may be performance of our contract with you (for example, providing your account and conversations), our legitimate interests (for example, securing and improving the Services), compliance with a legal obligation, or your consent where required. We assess and apply the appropriate basis to each processing activity.

You may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing, or receive a portable copy of certain personal information. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us for more information about a particular processing activity or applicable international-transfer safeguards.

12. Children's Privacy

SoulLink is intended for adults aged 18 and older, or a higher minimum age where required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child has provided personal information, we will take appropriate steps to delete it. If you believe a child has used the Services, please contact us at info@soullink.io.

13. Changes and Contact Information

We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services or practices change. We will post the revised policy with a new “Last Updated” date and provide additional notice when required by law. If a change materially expands how we use information previously collected, we will provide notice and obtain consent where required before applying the new practice.
